About Me
I am originally from Huntsville, Alabama in which Forbes named as the Geekiest city in America. It definitely shows in my writing and my wide range of interests. I always love to learn about new things.
I spend most of my day
working as a freelance writer at various sites across the internet,
homeschooling my youngest son, and volunteering at the Lexington
Children's Theatre, Scarefest, and with other organizations when I have the time. When I am not writing or volunteering, I love
to create wood burning art, beadwork, read tarot, and do research in science and
religion.
I have been paranormal investigator for 8 years and am also the Channel Manager for
Ghosts & Paranormal Phenomena at Helium.com.
Other channels that I manage at Helium include the Zoology Channel and the Earth Science Channel. The Earth Science Channel include more channels such as Atmosphere & Weather, Geology & Geophysics, Water & Oceanography, and Ecology & Environment.
I am an animal
person and love to educate about animal conservation and taking care of
the planet. I once aspired to become a marine biologist or a
zoologist. Instead, I took time to raise a family instead of pursuing a career in those areas. However, I still study these areas of science still to this day.
I also
actively support the Ian Somerhalder Foundation. The IS Foundation's
goal is to empower, educate and collaborate with people and projects to
positively impact the planet and all living creatures.
